Mrs Hedges' News
Jump Jam
On Saturday, I had the honour of attending the Jump Jam competition with Mrs Kaminski and our students from Years 3-6. It was incredible and a wonderful showcase of our talented students. The students displayed themselves with professionalism and good sportsmanship. They supported their fellow KPS students, and they had worked extremely preparing for the event.
As a result of their hard work, Kinross PS were extremely high performing and walked away with:
Year 3 girls team: 1st Place
Year 4/5 girls team: 1st Place
Year 4-6 boys team: 2nd Place
Year 6 girls team: 2 Merit awards.
Thank you to all the parents who committed to the competition by allowing their child to attend practices and bringing them on Saturday. Also, a huge thank you to Mrs Kaminski for your continued dedication to providing our students with these wonderful opportunities which they will remember long after they have left us at KPS.
Grandparents Day
To celebrate Grandparents Day, our Kindy students invited their grandparents into school for a fun-filled afternoon. The children suproised their grandparetns with a beautiful performance of ‘Catch a Falling Star’ and then they enjoyed some yummy treats and quality time. Thank you to our parents and grandparents who came along, we hope you had a lovely afternoon. Thank you to our staff for arranging such a beautiful event.
